Preface
2009 China-EU International Summit on Membrane Engineering in Water Treatment and Reuse – jointly hosted by the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Science and Technology; the Institute of Membrane Technology, European Union; the Department of Science and Technology, Shandong Province; and Weihai Municipal Government – is a high-level international academic summit and exhibition of scientific achievements in membrane and water treatment technologies in China. The event has been held successively three times and obtained high regard.
The fourth China-EU International Summit on Membrane will be held on Nov 1-3, 2009, in Weihai. The summit is organized by the Harbin Institute of Technology, National Engineering Research Center of Urban Water Resources, and Noppen (
The annual China-EU membrane summit has achieved great reputation and influence in the industry. It has gradually grown to be a renowned base of technology exchange and training in membrane and water treatment technologies. Every autumn, membrane experts and corporate representatives meet in Weihai to share knowledge, connect, and promote the development of membrane technologies and the water treatment industry.
