主要内容：ABC is bridge construction that usesinnovative planning, design, materials, and construction methods in a safe andcost-effective manner to reduce the onsite construction time. ABC techniquesinclude alternative or innovative contracting methods, structure types andgeotechnical solutions. Prefabricated elements, including abutments, piers,footings, walls, parapets and approach slabs, are used to reduce on‐siteconstruction time. Complete or nearly complete bridge is built off alignmentand moved into place using heavy lift equipment.
