理学院数学系学术报告--Steady states of Lotka-Volterra competition models with nonlinear cross-diffusion

报告摘要:This talk is concerned with a Lotka-Volterra model with nonlinear cross diffusion. The global existence of generalized solutions is established under some proper assumptions, and the nonexistence of non-constant solutions is also investigated when diffusion rate is sufficiently large. At the same time, sufficient conditions ensuring the existence of non-constant solutions are obtained by using Leray-Schauder degree theory. Furthermore, steady-state bifurcation analysis is carried out in details by using Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction.. This is a joint work with my PhD student Changfeng Liu at HNU.

报告人简介:

 

郭上江,中国地质大学(武汉)二级教授、博士生导师、数理学院院长。湖南大学岳麓学者特聘教授和博士生导师。主要从事微分方程分岔理论及应用研究、随机动力系统理论及应用研究。入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划,湖南省首批新世纪121人才工程人选,以及爱思唯尔“中国高被引学者”。主持国家自然科学基金项目6项,湖南省杰出青年基金。出版了英文专著一部,国际国内等杂志上发表论文80多篇。获湖南省自然科学奖一等奖(排序12018)、湖南省科技进步一等奖(排序22008),担任包含国际刊物在内的4个学术刊物的编委。
