Associate Professor Sanjay Sharma is going to deliver his talk on the application of AI-based technologies in the marine sector, supported by his past involvement, and will also provide insight into the future emerging areas where AI-based technologies can play a vital role.

主讲人简介：

Associate Professor Sanjay Sharma led the University of Plymouth, UK's Autonomous Marine Systems Research Group, which focuses on the application of AI techniques to navigation, guidance, and control of autonomous vehicles, wave energy devices, and marine propulsion systems. He is one of the UK’s foremost innovators in applying autonomous technology using AI in the marine environment. For the last 20 years, he has been instrumental in adapting emerging technologies, particularly sensors, control, fault diagnostics and optimisation technology for marine and maritime purposes. Associate Professor Sanjay played prominent roles on a number of bodies, including in the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, the UK Automatic Control Council and as a member of the Intelligent Autonomous Vehicles group within the International Federation of Automatic Control.
